Couples Therapy

Everyone says, “Marriage is work.”  We completely agree!  But most people are not taught what exactly this work entails. To learn your job or trade, you go to school or are trained on the job by an expert. To learn a sport, you have a coach that teaches you, provides drills, and makes you practice. You see where this is going here, right?

As couples therapists, we are here to help you learn and practice ways to connect and make your marriage stronger.  We specialize in working with couples at every stage in their relationship, from those who just want a relationship check-up to those who are on the brink of divorce.  We are here to help you learn to communicate, resolve conflict and feel and show love again.

Our areas of specialty for couples

  • Communication problems
  • Conflict
  • Infidelity
  • Loss of intimacy
  • Lack of connection
  • Stepcoupling
  • Decisions about divorce/discernment counseling
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I’ll meet you there.”
– Rumi (Persian Poet 1207-1273 AD)
